About Us

From Passive House design and construction to high quality joinery finishes, we pride ourselves in creating beautiful and sustainable buildings using natural, durable and robust materials. With over 25 years specialising in low energy, high performance buildings, our timber frame houses begin life in our house building factory, in Wales, as fully engineered, insulated and air-tight closed panels. The panelised units are then transported to site where a weather protected structure can be assembled in only a few days. The materials in our build systems are predominantly timber based and procured locally where possible. By using Warmcel cellulose fibre insulation along with timber and woodfibre lining boards, timber I-beams, timber windows, and timber cladding, carbon is locked-in to create a sustainable building that is healthy, comfortable and enjoyable to live in.

With over 25 years’ experience in the sustainable building industry, I am committed to providing quality low energy solutions for high performance buildings. I champion the growth of Passivhaus in the UK, particularly in Wales, and was a speaker at the Passivhaus Conference, 2017. I am on the board of Wood Knowledge Wales promoting the use of timber in construction. Believing firmly in education and innovation for the future, I regularly conduct CPD seminars at architect practices as well as Universities.

Ben Meade

Director

Also with over 25 years’ experience in the sustainable building industry, both in renovations and new build, my focus is overseeing our construction projects. My original training as a furniture maker shows in my critical eye for detail to finishes in our buildings. I will not compromise on quality and sustainability, and I constantly look at ways to ensure clients get the best products and service with added value. I work closely with suppliers and sub-contractors, and liaise with our Project Manager and team to oversee the success of each project.
